K K Singh is the founder Chairman of the Rolta Group of Companies. He is a first generation entrepreneur and promoted Rolta India in early 1980's. He is recognized as a pioneer in CAD/CAM/GIS field in India and has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of corporate management including finance, technology and international business. He is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's in Business Administration. His progressive outlook has enabled Rolta to be recognized globally as an innovative provider of cutting–edge solutions built around Rolta's own IP. Mr. Singh is the Honorary Consul–General of Ukraine.

Mr. Singh is a director in 23 Companies which include directorship in 13 overseas group companies. He is a National Executive Committee member of FICCI Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune, Maharashtra, Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani, West Bengal and Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam, Kerala. He is the Honorary Chairman of the "Association of Geospatial Industries". Mr. Singh has been conferred with Geospatial World Leadership Award by the Honorable 11th President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, at Geospatial World Forum 2012. Mr. Singh personally leads initiatives under the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility programs, besides his deep commitment to Philanthropy at a personal level.

Barbara J. Ryan, is the Secretariat Director of the intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO) in Geneva, Switzerland. GEO is comprised of nearly 100 Member States, the European Commission, and 90 international scientific and technical partner organizations. Since becoming Director of GEO in 2012, Ryan has worked to integrate Earth observation systems from around the world into a single, comprehensive system that uses coordinated data to understand how environmental factors impact human life. Like Ryan's career body of work, the system helps guide decision makers toward better agricultural, energy and land-use decisions. Under Ryan's leadership, millions of satellite images and other Earth observation data have been made available to the general public at no charge, allowing scientists, planners and policy makers to make better-informed decisions on problems that transcend political boundaries. Her work addresses critical issues in agriculture, biodiversity, climate change, disaster planning, energy, health and water.

Chadha, based in Silicon Valley, is a well-known visionary, entrepreneur and technologist. As a founder of SiRF Technology, he established its vision of 'GPS for Consumers', led the marketing and strategy to establish SiRF as the leading provider of GPS enabled location technology to mainstream markets and helped take the company public in 2004. Chadha's unmatched passion and unparalleled contributions in the field of GPS has laid the foundation for vibrant and socially relevant geospatial industry, offering location and spatial dimension to our society. Dr. Michael F. Goodchild received University Consortium of Geographical Information Science (UCGIS) Fellow status in recognition of his leadership, contributions to UCGIS, and his remarkable impact on the field of GIScience. His writings are universally admired for their relevancy to current thinking in GIS and for their insightful suggestions for future emphases for the field. Goodchild has been a source of inspiration for several professionals and institutions. Dr. Scott founded DigitalGlobe in 1992 as WorldView Imaging Corporation, which was the first company to receive a high-resolution commercial remote sensing license from the US Government (in 1993), under the 1992 Land Remote Sensing Policy Act. WorldView became EarthWatch Incorporated in 1995. Today, DigitalGlobe operates a 5-satellite imaging constellation with the best revisit and greatest capacity in the industry. Scott's contribution in the field of GIS has laid the foundation for vibrant and socially relevant geospatial industry offering enhanced earth observation capability in commercial and consumer domain. His vision towards creating and nurturing WorldView Imaging as the first company to have received high-resolution commercial remote sensing satellite license has brought mark shift in overall drive towards its scalability and commoditization adding larger value and utility to overall space industry. It has encouraged innovation and social relevance by making difference in world economy and society.

Alain De Taeye, born in Belgium, graduated as engineer-architect from the University of Gent. After having done research work in the field of Operations Research at the Business School of the Gent University, he founded Informatics & Management Consultants (I&M) where next to IT consultancy, he continued his work on digital map databases and routing. In 1989 I&M was integrated into the Dutch Tele Atlas group and as of 1990 Alain headed Tele Atlas. In 2008, TomTom acquired Tele Atlas and Alain joined the Management Board of TomTom. His vision towards creating and nurturing TeleAtlas focusing on commercial geospatial content has added immense value by empowering commoditization and consumerization of geospatial capability. Taeye's continued leadership at TomTom has brought consistency in overall evolution of geospatial content strategy at TomTom, offering newer dimensions and utilities across different disciplines, driving future course of business direction including e-commerce, autonomous vehicles, indoor mapping etc.

Charles R. Trimble was the principal founder of Trimble Navigation Limited in 1978 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 1981 until 1998. The company originally focused on developing navigation product using the Long Range Aid to Navigation system. In 1982, Mr. Trimble began developing receivers using GPS signals. He was the driving force behind the creation of the first commercially feasible GPS timing receiver introduced in 1984. This success led quickly to the development of commercial products for the survey market. Trimble's contribution in the field has laid the foundation for vibrant and socially relevant geospatial industry adding geographical and spatial dimension to our society. His vision towards creating and nurturing Trimble to be company of culture, technologies, innovation and social relevance has empowered industries across every sector, making a difference in the world economy and society.

Murai has immensely contributed in the field of remote sensing in Asia. It's his personal dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm which has helped in building the Asian community of remote sensing professionals and has paved the way for setting up remote sensing institutes in several countries in Asia. Murai's vision towards nurturing Asian Association of Remote Sensing and Asian Conference on Remote Sensing as community based institutional movement is a milestone hallmark. His leadership and untiring efforts to motivate and encourage remote sensing professionals at grass-root level has brought consistency in overall evolution of remote sensing capacity in all levels including government, civil societies, multilateral agencies and academic institutions in Asia.

Mr. Schell served as both Chairman and CEO of OGC from its founding in 1994 until 2008 when the board elected Mark Reichardt to assume the position of President and CEO. As Executive Chairman from 2008 to 2012, Mr. Schell was principally concerned with overseeing board operations and organizing the consortium's strategic planning process. He made important decisions based on the counsel of anyone in the organization or outside the organization who could help him understand the effects of decisions on the consortium's many stakeholders and on the course of the geospatial technology industry. He understands how communities and networks operate and that has been a key element in the success of the OGC. Schell earned B.A. and M.A. degrees from Brown University and the University of North Carolina respectively, and currently holds -the title "Honorary Professor of Geospatial Interoperability" in the School of Engineering at the University of Nottingham.

Jack Dangermond is the unrivaled king of GIS technology, the specialized software used for creating digital maps. He founded his company, Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri), in 1969. Dangermond founded ESRI to perform land use analysis; however, its focus evolved into GIS software development, highlighted by the release of ARC/INFO in the early 1980s; the development and marketing of ARC/INFO positioned ESRI with the dominant market share among GIS software developers. Today ESRI is the largest GIS software developer in the world and its flagship product, ArcGIS, traces its heritage to Dangermond's initial efforts in developing ARC/INFO. Esri currently dominates the industry, with over 40% of global GIS market share and more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

Starting in 1979 with research at the University of Surrey, Sir Martin pioneered highly capable modern small satellites utilizing consumer electronics to change the economics of space that laid the foundations of the present commercial ‘Newspace’ industry worldwide. He is widely regarded internationally as the ‘father of small satellites’.

In 1985, he founded a University spin-off company (SSTL) that has designed, built, launched and operated in orbit 65 nano, micro and mini-satellite missions – as well as 34 GNSS payloads for the European Galileo constellation.

As Chairman of the Surrey Space Centre and a distinguished professor at the University of Surrey, Sir Martin leads a team of academic faculty and doctoral researchers investigating advanced small satellite concepts and techniques, with a particular interest in space robotics for in-orbit debris removal and the assembly of large space telescopes. He has supervised over 200 graduated PhD students and has over 350 publications.

The relationship between the Surrey Space Centre and SSTL is an exemplar of real academic-commercial synergy.

Sir Martin is Fellow of the Royal Society, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the IET and the Institute of Physics. Knighted by HM The Queen, he has been identified as one of the 20 most influential engineers in the UK.

BVR Mohan Reddy founded Cyient (earlier, Infotech Enterprises) in 1991, with the vision of providing engineering services to global markets. He established the “Engineered in India” brand and led Cyient to contribute more than $5 billion in cumulative exports to several international customers, including many Fortune 100 companies.

As Founder Chairman, Mohan contributes to the organization’s global brand and purpose. Mohan acts as a sounding board, mentor, and critic in the spirit of enabling sustainable growth, especially in matters related to strategy, values, policy, CSR and government relations. Mohan promotes the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance, particularly at the board level.

Mohan served as Chairman of NASSCOM in 2015-16 and has been a member of its Executive Council since 2003, and continues to shape the industry agenda. He served as the Chairman of CII, Southern Region, in 2008-2009 and currently serves as the National Education Council Chairman. Mohan is also the Founding Director of T-Hub, the largest start-up incubation center in India.

Mohan holds postgraduate degrees in engineering from IIT Kanpur and the University of Michigan, USA. He is the recipient of honorary doctorates from JNTU Hyderabad, JNTU Kakinada, Andhra University, and KL University.
