BACKGROUND
Recent years have witnessed significant advances in the integration of geospatial analysis and Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially with Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) methods. The ability to process and visualize billions of data in milliseconds has created a deep impact on data science, opening endless possibilities for geospatial analytics.
Through the Internet of Everything, sensors, devices and robots can interact with precision and accuracy at machine speeds. Such integration provides Big Data, which Machine Learning algorithms can use to generate intelligence that drives smart solutions, benefitting applications at hyperlocal, regional, and global scale.
As a result, organizations now have the ability to interact with geospatial and location-based data in real-time, allowing them to predict outcomes, reimagine processes and better respond to changes.
