Abstract
Supporting the implementation of INSPIRE

In 2014, the INSPIRE maintenance and implementation group (MIG) endorsed the first version of the maintenance and implementation work programme (MIWP) and several MIG sub-groups started their work. The presentation will showcase selected MIWP actions that are supporting the EU member states in the technical implementation of INSPIRE, including:
• Validation and conformity testing – development of commonly agreed validation rules (Abstract Test Suites) for INSPIRE technical guidelines and their implementation in validation tools (Executable Test Suites)
• INSPIRE Download services for observation, coverage and tabular data based on OGC services (Sensor Observation Service, Web Coverage Service, Table Join Service)
• Updating the INSPIRE metadata technical guidelines
• XML schema maintenance
