Luca Giovannini: Technical lead for R&D projects with 7 yrs experience in the fields of Geomatics and Remote Sensing; Responsible for the design of algorithms for vehicle routing and pattern recognition in images; Responsible for the implementation of SAR Interferometry software for EU GMES programme activities; Currently involved in the technical development of EU funded projects eENVplus (value-adding services for INSPIRE-compliant environmental data) and Sunshine (sensors and services for smart energy management of buildings and lighting networks).
