Abstract Hexagon Airborne & Mobile Mapping Workflows supporting Smart Cities
Smart Cities are ecosystems designed to manage the challenges of urbanisation and increased population in a drastically changing world. Such ecosystems require adequate tools and technologies not only to document the world as-built, but to shape change faster and more accurately. Actionable information is key to decision makers. Hexagon and Hexagon Geosystems are committed to providing state-of-the-art geospatial information technologies that quickly deliver accurate actionable information. Dr. Hartmut Rosengarten will present the latest solutions and workflows for geospatial data production, with focus on airborne and mobile mapping technologies. He will provide an update on Hexagon Geosystems’ mature airborne sensor portfolio and complementary solutions for bathymetry, as well as UAVs and mobile mapping. The results showcase highly intelligent 3-D information for a wide range of geospatial applications such as infrastructure management within Smart Cities.
