Biography
I am a graduate of the Ecole Centrale Paris, one of the top « French Grandes Ecoles ». I started my career working at Aérospatiale and Saint-Gobain as a research engineer. I then held the position of technical manager in various Web agencies. In 2010, I joined Camptocamp, an internationally well-known Open Source company in the field of Geospatial solutions, as project manager and branch manager. There, I have been holding both positions, working on exciting projects such as the regional spatial data infrastructures of Aquitaine, Alsace, Bretagne and Picardie in France, making INSPIRE come true thanks to geOrchestra.

Abstract
geOrchestra: A Free, Modular and Interoperable Spatial Data Infrastructure for INSPIRE

Co-Author: Francois Vanderbiest, Camptocamp

The geOrchestra project was born in 2009 at the regional level in France, in order to meet the INSPIRE goals. Since then, it has grown into a fully featured & mature Spatial Data Infrastructure, able to cope with thousands of datasets. The geOrchestra SDI bundles together GeoServer and GeoNetwork, the two most successful data and metadata services at the time, with a custom authentication system built on top of CAS Single Sign On and security proxy. It also features optional modules such as a advanced viewer and data editor, an extractor, and a users/groups admin console. The project has a growing international community of users and developers, which gathers every year. While the heart of the project lies in Europe, there are also users in South America, Africa and India. The presentation will focus on the SDI unique features and added-value.
