Best Practices and Success Stories using INSPIRE Services in Spain

The National Centre for Geographic Information of Spain is in charge of the implementation of INSPIRE services accessing the datasets produced by the National Geographic Institute. Nowadays, around twenty web map services, five web map tile services, fifteen web feature services, one Atom plus OpenSearch and one web catalogue service fulfilling INSPIRE requirements are available and have been developed using open software packages. But it is not enough to implement services; it is needed to use these services through web and smartphone applications. In this presentation, we are going to show some use cases and success stories about the use of our web services and new challenges for the future.
