Biography
Luca Pupulin has a 15 year experience in the humanitarian sector. Following a first deployment in the Balkans, MrPupulin has worked with NGOs in Burundi, Thailand and Central Asia. In 2003 MrPupulin joined the French NGO ACTED, with which he has covered the positions of Regional Director for Asia and Global Director of Programs. In 2010 MrPupulin was behind the first pilot of REACH, an initiative of ACTED, IMPACT and UNOSAT which aims at better informing humanitarian action. Headquartered in IMPACT?s Geneva office, REACH was operationalized in 2012 and is now supporting humanitarian actors in 12 countries through assessments and mapping (see www.reach-initiative.org). Today Luca Pupulin is the Executive Director of IMPACT as well as ACTED?s representative in Geneva.
