Biography
Jay W. Freeland has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of FARO since December, 2006. Jay’s previous roles with the company include those of President and Co-Chief Executive officer from January, 2006 to December, 2006, President and Chief Operating Officer from November, 2004 to January, 2006 and director since February, 2006. Jay began his career with General Electric’s Financial Management program in 1991. He held various financial, strategic, sales and operational management roles of increasing responsibility with GE until 2003 when he formed his own consulting company. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Union College, Schenectady, New York.
