Biography
Michael T. Jones serves as an Advisor at Google Ventures. He is an Advisor at interesting Silicon Valley Projects. Mr. Jones also serves as Google’s Chief Technology Advocate, charged with advancing the technology to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. He travels the globe to meet and speak with governments, businesses, partners and customers in order to advance Google’s mission and technology. He is a Co-founder of Keyhole Corp. and served as its Chief Technology Officer. He previously was Chief Technologist of Google Maps, Earth, and Local Search. He serves as a Director of Seclarity Inc. and Google Earth (Formerly Keyhole, Corp.). He has been programming computers since the fourth grade, has published in computer graphics (SIGGRAPH) and mathematics journals. Mr. Jones is a Prolific Inventor with eleven issued U.S. patents.
