Abstract
Using spatial relationships and -operations in 3D professional gameplay, aimed to support urban security and Policing.

Professional policing in a democratic society - especially in large urban settings - requires a multi-tier approach to learning and experimenting, in order to give stakeholders, citizens and security professionals the opportunity to build deeper anticipation-participation relationships. One of the emerging training methods in this field is ‘professional gaming’, in which spatial relationships and –operations are expected to add specific value to different scenarios, time, context and meaning at individual and organizational level. This ‘transreal’ approach offers a set of powerful connections to the player’s real life environment, applying different layers of intelligence to support motivation and learning transfer on a daily basis.
