Biography
Pieter Bresters is a geospecialist working at Statistics Netherlands since 2008. He has been a member of the thematic working group for the INSPIRE themes for Statistical Units and Population Distribution. The highest education he finished is the Technical University of Delft at the faculty of Geodesy in 1989. Since then, he has worked for several private companies in the field of GIS. From 1999 until 2008 he worked for the ministry of infrastructure and environment At Statistics Netherlands, Pieter is responsible for implementing INSPIRE regulations. He is also involved in testing the concept of the Table Joining Service.
