Biography
Graduated from ?Sapienza?, University of Rome, as an electronic engineer in 1995, with specialization in remote sensing. Around 20 years job experience in the field of Geographic Information and image processing, gained in research Institutes (Enea Casaccia, Universities or Rome, Siena, Camerino, ICS-UNIDO). Main application fields: map production, image and spatial data processing, training courses on GIS, software development. Involved in European projects since 1998, from 2000 employed at Italian Institute of Statistics (Istat) ? Census, Social and Environmental Statistics Departments. Currently responsible of the project: ?Road distances, access to services and environmental risk areas?.
