Biography
Alessandro Oggioni is a researcher by the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment of the National Research Council of Italy. He obtained his Ph.D. in Ecology by the University of Parma. His work concerns the implementation of IT tools for the collection, discovery (through metadata), and sharing of ecological data. In particular, he is focussing on the user needs of data representation in the Observation and Measurements (O&M) standard and in the possibility of their storage and sharing by means of Service Oriented Services.
