Biography
Dr. Saulius Urbanas is Services Development Consultant for EuroGeographics. As part of this role he leads the European Location Framework project (ELF) work package 6, focused on user requirements and third party (thematic) data content. Having worked in the geospatial sector for more than two decades, Saulius has extensive experience in geodesy, GIS/CAD, spatial data infrastructures, real estate cadastre and remote sensing as well as research and educational activities. Saulius participates in a number of international working groups. He is also Secretary General of the Coordinating Committee of Struve Geodetic Arc.
