Biography From February 2003, he has been managing the European and International Affairs of the French National Institute of Geographic and Forest Information (IGN). He is Acting Coordinator of the UN-GGIM: Europe working group A “Core Data”, and he is coordinating the IGN contribution to the European Location Framework (ELF) CIP ICT PSP European project. He is also coordinating the Copernicus Task Force of EuroGeographics.
From September 1999 to January 2003 he was Product Manager of the Road Database of IGN. From December 1995 to August 1999, he was Researcher at the COGIT laboratory of IGN, working on automated cartography. From September 1992 to November 1995, he was member of the Product Team of the Topographic Database of IGN.
In July 1992, he got a Geographic Engineer Diploma, delivered by the 'Ecole Nationale des Sciences Géographiques' (ENSG), the French National School for Geographic Sciences, and a Master Diploma in Geographic Information Sciences, delivered by the University of Paris VII and ENSG. In July 1990, he got an Engineer diploma delivered by the Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France.
