Over time, there has been significant policy changes that decreased barriers to enter the Space ecosystem. Public-private partnerships and the entry of private actors into the Space sector were instrumental in boosting Space innovation. With satellites becoming smaller and launch costs reduced substantially, access to Space-based insights are becoming more democratized, spreading its application across more industries.

More widely, the 4IR era has introduced new prospects for collaborations. Generating Space-based insights requires integration of analytics, digital platforms/networks and multiple sources of information, which leads to further growth and investment in both Space and Geospatial sectors.
