Geospatial technologies coupled with information technologies are leading their way to a sustainable agricultural industrialisation. This union of technologies acts as a strong pillar in contributing to the world’s economy by empowering agriculture industry to make better decisions, based on smart and intelligent geographic information. Owing to growing demand in agriculture production and to match pace with upcoming new challenges and prospects, it becomes inevitable to create connected, collaborated and embedded geospatial solutions for Agriculture. - a new wave of farming will discuss the enormous computational power which can be used in agricultural system in a very inexpensive and abundant form. The said power can help infuse geospatial intelligence into agriculture systems and processes that make the whole agriculture practice smart and envision a new wave of farming.
