In this age of convergence scientific research is becoming a fusion of several disciplines. The field of geospatial information systems is also subject to this phenomenon. In order to address this complex, multidisciplinary milieu it is necessary that professionals from contributing disciplines come together on a common platform to discuss current issues and share their experiences and so contribute to this enormous body of knowledge. Keeping this in view, 'Geospatial Science forum' is being organized which aims to be a facilitator for GIS Science. The forum will address the issues of Geospatial Information Science in the Asia and Pacific region.
The following tracks have been identified for the forum:
Data Acquisition and processing systems
Spatial Analysis and Modelling
Human Interfaces and Applications
