BiographyLuigi is a Director in PwC Paris. He leads the PwC Space Practice, an advisory team dedicated to consulting within the space sector. Luigi has over 17 years of experience in the space sector along the wider value chain, including downstream applications, and 8+ years in consulting for the industry and institutions in the sector. Prior to PwC, Luigi was working for the Italian Aerospace Research Centre as scientist first, and then as officer in charge of EU affairs, then for the European Space Agency European Astronaut Centre as basic science trainer for the 6 European astronauts selected in 2009, and finally for Booz and Company as strategy consultant in Amsterdam in the Space Practice.

In his work, Luigi has become a trusted advisor for the European Commission, the European Space Agency in space market assessments, industrial policy, and regulatory matters and he has extensively supported, through the space practice, the space industry on new business models and go-to-market strategies for new products and services.

His recent work targeting the space downstream allowed him to develop extensive insights on the impact of earth observation data for both industry and public organizations, and on the possibilities to exploit earth observation data for advisory services.
