Biography

Allan Maungu has an interdisciplinary background with over 9 years' technical experience in design, development, deployment and training of digital solutions for land administration and management. Currently based at the Regional Center for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) in Nairobi-Kenya, he supports organizations in Eastern and Southern Africa region in implementing programmes such as digital land data collection, management and use for securing land tenure, land use planning, natural resource management, digitization and digitalization of land records and processes for effective and efficient land governance, and establishing National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) platforms.
