GeoChicas are an international women's mapping community with members in more than 12 different countries. Their aim is for women to have a greater presence and participation in key OSM events, increase female participation and leadership, and work on mapping projects which benefit women. The main focus as a group is to help close the gender gap in the OSM community across participation, data creation and curation. GeoChicas have also been conducting research on gender participation within the OSM community. Their recent gender survey was conducted in order to better understand the different perspectives and experiences around the concept of gender in the OSM community and to analyse the role, representation and participation of women in OSM. Through this research we hope to find a way to close the gender gap within the community.

The European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) ( is a is a long-term, marine data initiative funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund as a long-term Marine Knowledge initiative of the European Commission (EC) Directorate-General Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). EMODnet is a network of more than 120 organizations supported by the EU's integrated maritime policy and EMODnet works with data producers and providers, national and other marine data centres, existing marine data infrastructures and experts across Europe to process, harmonize and standardize marine data according to European and international standards and make that information freely available as interoperable data layers and data products.

International Hydrographic Organization

Established in 1921, the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) is an intergovernmental body with 98 Member States globally. Tasked with charting and measuring oceanic features, including seabed topography and currents, the IHO sets standards and coordinates national hydrographic offices. This information underpins diverse marine activities like navigation, scientific research, environmental protection, and the Blue Economy's development. The IHO's role becomes pivotal in harnessing data related to seabed topography and currents for projects like marine renewable energy. Singapore Land Authority (SLA)

Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is a statutory board with the Ministry of Law. Its mission is to optimise land resources for the social and economic development of Singapore. SLA manages some 11,000 hectares of State land and about 2,600 State properties, which have largely been tenanted out for a variety of uses. It also manages land sales, leases, acquisitions and allocation, developing and marketing land-related information, and maintaining the national land information database through digitised land information services. Being the national land registration authority for property transactions, SLA issues and guarantees land titles in Singapore. It also manages and maintains the national land survey system, where boundaries or legal limits of properties are defined, based on a coordinated cadastre survey system. The use of geospatial information is also spearheaded by SLA through a national collaborative environment where geospatial data, policies and technologies are established and defined, thereby fostering innovation, knowledge and value creation for the Government, enterprises and community.
