The workshop on Maximizing Geospatial RoI – Strategies for Accelerated Geospatial Industry Growth aims to delve into the pivotal role of geospatial technologies in fostering socio-economic development and the paramount importance of communicating the Return on Investment (RoI) to stakeholders to spur industry growth.
The geospatial industry continues to have a profound impact on the global economy and accelerating its growth will hinge on the extent to which we can successfully communicate how our technology, data and analytics can be used by customers to: Make Money, Save Money, and Manage Risk.
The primary objective of this workshop is to articulate and enhance understanding of the strategic benefits of geospatial technologies in terms of revenue generation, cost savings, and risk management. The session will focus on transitioning from market-taking strategies, where businesses primarily compete, to market-making strategies, which involve creating new demand and opportunities for the use of geospatial technologies. By dedicating effort to quantify, substantiate, and clearly communicate how these technologies generate revenue, reduce costs, and manage risks, we will initiate discussion and deliberation to empower stakeholders to promote wider adoption within their organizations.
