Overview

In today’s landscape, the concept of security extends beyond traditional military or Defence parameters. Instead, it encompasses various aspects of societal well-being and stability. As warfare goes beyond conventional security concerns, ensuring security requires a broader perspective that comprises emerging threats such as cyberattacks, information warfare, terrorism, ransomware, and other advanced-AI threats.

A robust GeoIntelligence infrastructure not only contributes to multiple dimensions of security, it also plays a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating geospatial information for various national development purposes. By establishing a robust GeoIntelligence infrastructure, it becomes possible to address multiple security challenges, including climate, health, border, food, and supply chain security.

Hence, growth and security – two commonly shared visions among nations – are becoming interconnected. Sustainable and inclusive growth requires a foundation of stability and protection, especially in the ever-evolving geo-political dynamics. By addressing various dimensions of security, societies can create an environment that fosters economic prosperity, social progress, and overall well-being.
