Biography

For over two years, Sami has managed the research, design, and expansion of projects at the Innovation Cell. While her role is to apply emerging technologies to peace and security use-cases generally, her main expertise is in geospatial analysis for the advancement of environmental security. Sami is passionate about diversity and inclusion within the geospatial field, particularly for women, girls, and indigenous communities. Central to her role is storytelling and bridging the technical and political worlds.
