Biography

Jas works as Vice President in the Asia-Pacific, Risk and Compliance Analytics team at HSBC Hong Kong. He is a technical subject matter expert working closely with global, regional and local business and tech teams on Transaction Monitoring (TM) models and other financial crime risk controls. Previously, he was working as a Senior Product Manager at Serai, a fully owned HSBC digital start up subsidiary.

Prior to Hong Kong, he worked in HSBC New York, in model risk management and reviewing capital provisions. Before HSBC, he co-founded and successfully operated a start-up in India, ActiKnow Consulting, an international B2B analytics advisory firm. He completed his Masters from Columbia University and went to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi for his undergraduate studies in Engineering.
