Biography

Kees van der Pols is head of Ground Segment and Mission Operations at ClearSpace. A spacecraft operations expert in solar system exploration and earth observation missions, he is managing a team of rockstars towards a timely, safe and cost-effective service delivery using the complete fleet. Besides his day-to-day responsibilities he is also an active space sustainability activist and TEDx speaker.

ClearSpace, a ground-breaking initiative based in Switzerland to clear up Space debris, provides in-orbit services to support institutions and commercial operators in accomplishing their space missions safely and sustainably.
