BiographyDr Ricker is a tenured Assistant Professor in the Environmental Science department in the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. She is a co-author of the open access United Nations Publication Mapping for a Sustainable World and is the chair of the Cartography and Sustainable Development Working Group of the International Cartographic Association. Her research combines quantitative and qualitative research methods with cartography and remote sensing in an effort to draw attention to underrepresented regions and populations.
