BiographyAfter studying Economy at the Universita’ Cattolica di Milano, Cecilia started her EU career at the cabinet of the Vice President for Industry and Entrepreneurship at the European Commission. In the past 11 years, Cecilia developed a solid experience in the EU-related affairs, mainly in the field of Space/Earth Observation (Copernicus and Space research) and Marine/Ocean environmental policies with a strong focus on Innovation and Research (Sustainable use of ocean and marine environment, Blue Economy and Blue Growth). She is a high-quality communicator, with strong expertise in the science-policy nexus.
