BiographyTina is Head of Catastrophe Analytics at Gallagher Re and responsible for the analytical service offering to a wide range of re/insurance clients across the West and South region of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA W/S). Tina sits on the management boards for EMEA W/S and Gallagher Re International catastrophe analytics, as well as coordinates R&D across the Gallagher Re business.

Tinas background is in catastrophe model development, having worked at both JBA Risk Management and at RMS as a Lead Model Developer early on in her career, and more recently as Research Manager at MS Amlin, where she informed the Groups view of risk by evaluating catastrophe models against science and developing proprietary views of catastrophe risk.

Tina holds a PhD in Geomatic Engineering from UCL and retains close links with the academic community through Learned Societies such as the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society and the Royal Geographical Society, where she is also a fellow and has recently launched a Professional Practice Group for Disaster Risk Management. Tina frequently presents at conferences and hosts industry events to promote the broader scope of geography as well as knowledge transfer on the application of Earth Observation in re/insurance.
