BiographyVeronica Mariti Sesoko, Engineer working for Dublin City Council. She holds a Masters's in Engineering Transportation from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Instituto Maua de Tecnologia (Brazil). Passionate about innovation and improving peoples life focusing on sustainability and solving real challenges. Working in Dublin City Council since 2019, in the Smart City Unit, the innovation section. Involved in a wide range of projects from Mobility as a Service to Drones, Free Public WiFi under WiFi4EU, Stakeholder Engagement, Digital Twin and 3D City Models, and much more. Co-opt member of Engineers Ireland Council and Vice-Chair of DCC CPD Sub-Committee for Graduates and Assistant Engineers. Bi-champion in Concrete Competitions developing strong and light concrete. Five articles were published on Active Learning Methodologies for Civil Engineering Courses.
