AbstractSustainable Urbanisation requires city leaders to consciously set or re-imagine their vision and strategy to be based equally upon economic, societal and environmental outcomes. Population growth, continued environmental degradation and societal inequality are converging to increase the pressure on city leaders to act fast. In this context, time, or the lack of it, is one of the biggest challenges they now face - because arguably it’s never been more important to accelerate our understanding.

Geospatial Intelligence helps us organise, analyse, visualise and model all the information we need to understand the interconnectedness of our cities - built assets, supply chain, human movement, neighbourhoods and communities, transport networks and so on. This paper will explore how technology can help accelerate this transformational change.
