BiographyDavid Henderson is the Chief Geospatial Officer at Ordnance Survey and a member of the executive team where he leads the development of Ordnance Survey's long-term strategy, including participation in national and international collaborations. David and his team work to make sure Ordnance Survey remains at the forefront of the global geospatial industry, whilst championing the unique role national mapping organisations play in resolving some of the world's greatest challenges. A geospatial professional and Honorary Fellow of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society, David joined Ordnance Survey in 2003 and has fulfilled a variety of technical and leadership roles. David has led the UKs delegation to the UNs Committee of Experts on Global Geographic Information Management (UNGGIM) since 2016 and is a Vice-Chair of the UNGGIM Europe Regional Group.
