BiographyFrank has a PhD in computer science, in his thesis scientific workflow design he looked both into practical and theoretical aspects of workflows. After finishing his PhD Frank has worked in Dutch e-government with a focus on web-service standards and APIs. Since 2014 he works as a member of the Geonovum standards team. Previous work includes the web services and API aspects of the new Dutch environment and planning act as well as Co-authoring the OGC web services security standard and the OGC Web API guidelines. Frank is a member of the OGC architecture board.

Currently Frank is working on the Dutch API design rules (a normative standard for API design in the Dutch public sector) as well as being responsible for creating standards for the Dutch key register subsoil.
