BiographyThomas Pelzer works as Product Manager in Cyclomedia’s ‘Core Content and Platform’ Product Management team. The team’s mission is to make all of Cyclomedia’s self-acquired data online available in a single platform (Street Smart), as well as to provide valuable content to the Data Insights team to detect and extract various assets such as vegetation, road signs, manholes, utility poles and many more.

Thomas’ areas of expertise are in LiDAR, aerial datasets and 3D models. Having a strong commercial background, he knows about the importance of asking the right questions and listening to users and prospects to derive key requirements. This is about both new content and new functionality. The requirements are then translated into actionable tickets for the cross-functional teams to pick up and integrate in Street Smart, whereas Thomas as Product Manager orchestrates between commercial and technical teams to make sure the right components are delivered in time.Abstract3DNL: large-scaled, fully automated production of high-quality 3D mesh models: the ultimate basis for any city’s photorealistic visual representation in Digital Twins.
