BiographyMenno-Jan Kraak is professor of Geovisual Analytics and Cartography at the University of Twente / ITC. Currently he is ITCs vice-dean of capacity development. He was President of the International Cartographic Association (ICA) for the period 2015-2019. He authored many publications, among them the books Cartography, visualization of geospatial (4th edition 2020 - CRC Press) and 'Mapping time (2014 - ESRI Press) and Mapping for a sustainable world (2020 - United Nations).
