BiographyJohn has gained vast experience in fiber optic telecommunications and the IT that comes along with it. He started his career as a telecommunications engineer and switched to the IT part after he received his Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology. In his role as IT Domain Architect for GIS Inventory Management systems he works on data migrations and data cleansing. John and his team (based in India) have migrated several databases like ESRI, Smallworld, Microstation and Intergraph into one source database. He is also involved with large raster to vector conversion projects which are performed either manually of with machine learning.
