BiographyDr. Ingo Simonis is Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), an international consortium of more than 550 businesses, government agencies, research organizations, and universities driven to make information and services FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. He integrates the latest technology trends and research results into the organization and coordinates OGC's global research activities. Dr. Simonis develops OGC's research strategy, is responsible for planning, managing and execution of OGC's research and development initiatives, and supports member organizations in their adoption process of state-of-the-art, open, distributed, standards-based enterprise architectures.
