BiographyLuca has a background in environmental science, specialising in earth observation, spatial modelling, natural resource management, and biodiversity monitoring with positions held both in academia and industry.

His experience also includes founding three startups, mentoring founders, and assessing novel and innovative technologies in the Geospatial sector. Luca Joined KTNs Complex Systems team in 2019 and looks after the Geospatial Insights Special Interest Group.

He holds an MPhil in Environmental Science from the University of Cambridge specialising in remote sensing technologies, and he has professional training on Entrepreneurship and the Environment from the Oxfords Smith School.
