ACORDE
BiographyEsther López was born in 1979 in Santander, Spain. She received her M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2003, from the University of Cantabria, Spain. She joined Erzia Space in 2003, participating in ESA funded research projects dealing with on-board communication systems. Since 2006 Mrs. López is within ACORDE, where she has actively participated in a lot of projects, dealing with communication and positioning. She has been responsible of the execution of several EU and national projects dealing with advanced RF communication systems and GNSS systems. In 2010 she became the Head of the R&D department, in 2011 she became the Manager of the Intercommunication and Control Systems division, and she is currently handling the participation of ACORDE in regional, national and European research programmes. Regarding the GNSS systems and applications, she has coordinated 2 FP7 project (LOGAM and ARMOURS), 1 finalized SME instrument phase 1 and 2 (GLAD-2), 1 H2020 finalized project (AUDITOR) and is currently coordinating H2020 project GALIRUMI.AbstractGNSS-assisted robot to tackle the weed Rumex obtusifolius and increase the profitability and sustainability of dairy farming (Galirumi)Esther Lopez was born in 1979 in Santander, Spain.
