BiographyFabiano Maisonnave is Brazil’s Folha de S.Paulo’s Amazon correspondent and is based in Manaus since 2016. A Nieman Fellow at Harvard University (2015-16), he has been a reporter with the newspaper for 18 years. During this period, he was a correspondent in Washington DC, Caracas and Beijing and has reported from 32 countries.
