BiographyCristian Coman received the Engineer’s degree from the Military Technical Academy, Bucharest, in 1996 and Doctor’s degrees from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands in 2006. Since 2006 he has been with the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency), in The Hague, The Netherlands. At NCI Agency he has managed and contributed to various projects in the area of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED), Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) and Electronic Warfare (EW). He is currently leading the establishment of the C-DART - Counter-Drone Alliance RDO (Research via Development to Operations) Team within the NCI Agency’s ISR Center, which will be the NATO’s centre of expertise for counter-drone technology and operations.
