BiographyMr. Awadesh Mishra has more than 25 years experience of managing and supervising country wide large-scale sample surveys in National Sample Survey Office, Government of India. Surveys included Socio-Economic Surveys on different topics, Labour Force Surveys, Time Use Surveys, Agricultural Statistics Surveys, Annual Survey of Industries, Urban Frame Surveys, Collection of Prices for Consumer Price Indices, Baseline Survey sponsored by UNICEF and Methodological Studies. He has managed Agricultural Statistics and was In-Charge of Comprehensive Scheme for Studying the Cost of Cultivation of Principal Crops in India in Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India for two years that estimated Cost of Cultivation & Cost of Production of 29 crops generated under the scheme. Previously, he has been instrumental in organizing various training programs. Mr. Mishra holds a Masters of Science in Statistics from University of Lucknow and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Rani Durgavati University Jabalpur.
