BiographyJudith Neyer is a political scientist working on climate and energy policy making in Austria and beyond. At Urban Innovation Vienna, a think tank for future urban issues, she is in charge of international project cooperation with a focus on spatial energy planning for heat transition.
Judith started her career in the international environmental movement for sustainability and climate protection based in Brussels. She worked as climate and energy policy advisor to the Austrian Parliament and participated in UNFCCC climate negotiations. Before joining Urban Innovation Vienna in autumn 2018 she worked at Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change, where she has been researching decarbonisation strategies.
