With over 15 years of business develop experience across markets and regions like Europe, Africa and Latin America and more than 20 years using GIS, he has a deep knowledge in how to support a successful implementation of a GIS for an organization.
Joao is an Urbanist and holds a Master Degree in Urban Management and is also Postgraduate in Management, with a strong hunger for knowledge of the economic and politics aspects of the regions were he works and also innovation especially when information technologies are involved. AbstractLocation centric data is pervasive in business today. Many companies are finding insights from location technologies are critical to success. They are able to find the insights they need to holistically understand and grow their markets. From understanding why things happen where to do, to finding new opportunities in existing markets, location technology is how companies are able to consume and interrogate modern, location centric big data sets like IoT and human movement data.
