BiographyPeter Bonne has over 30 years in GeoSpatial Software and Business Development in GIS and Photogrammetry. He is co-owner and CEO or Orbit GT with focus on international activities, Product Marketing and Business Development within the realm of high end 3D Mapping domains such Mobile Mapping, UAS Mapping, Aerial Mapping and Indoor Mapping. He participates as member of the GSDI board in Belgium and occupies several consultancy functions. Orbit GT has become world leader for 3D Mapping and Mobile Mapping applications since its conception. AbstractIn this presentation, Peter will use the Smart City as an archetype for each organisation and company using massive amounts of LiDAR data, and by extension all types of 3D Mapping data. As cities need to manage land, above and below ground, a proper and up to date 3D map becomes more essential than a 2D maps has ever been. How do we assemble, manage, diversify this content, and how to we bring this to the daily workflows within every city’s organisation.
