BiographyWith a geodesy background from Delft University of Technology now over 25 years experience in the geospatial industry. Spend the last 15 years with Trimble in a variety of positions in locations in Asia (Bangkok), USA (Denver) and Europe. Since two years back based in the Netherlands as the Advanced Solutions Manager EMEA for Trimble’s Geospatial Division.AbstractMobile mapping mass data capture technology has seen a rapidly increasing adaption rate in recent years. The hardware technology is mature, the software capabilities to work the data rapidly expand, which leads to an increasing group of public and private organizations adopting the technology or seeking access to the data via 3rd party service providers. The rich datasets enable a wide range of professions in an organization to benefit from the data. In this presentation we briefly look at some of the recent developments and the wide variety of applications they serve.
