BiographyColin Bray is President of EuroGeographics (the association of Heads of European National Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authorities) and he is the Chief Executive Office and Chief Survey Officer of Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSi), the Irish national mapping agency. Colin is also a member of the European Executive Committee of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM). With more than twenty years experience in strategic geospatial information management, Colin has led OSi since 2013, having joined in 1998 as a professional surveyor and subsequently held the position of Chief Technology Officer. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Management/Organisational Behaviour, a European Honours degree in Geodetic Engineering, and a Diploma in Geo-Surveying. Colin is Immediate Past-President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), the first geomatics surveyor to hold this position.
