Kadaster is a non-departmental public body, operating under the political responsibility of the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency – in short Kadaster – collects and registers administrative and spatial data on property and the rights involved. AGILE

The Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe (AGILE) was established in 1998 to promote academic teaching and research on GISc at the European level and to ensure the continuation of the networking activities that have emerged as a result of the EGIS Conferences and the European Science Foundation GISDATA Scientific Programmes. AGILE seeks to ensure that the views of the geographic information teaching and research community are fully represented in the discussions that take place on future European research agendas. AGILE also provides a permanent scientific forum where geographic information science researchers can meet and exchange ideas and experiences at the European level. The activities of AGILE are managed by an eight person council elected by its members. Its main tasks are to develop an organisational structure to realise the goals of AGILE, to further develop with the help of the members an European research agenda, to instigate and stimulate initiatives and to organise a yearly GI-conference.

International Cartographic Association (ICA)

The aim of the International Cartographic Association is to promote the discipline and profession of cartography internationally. It offers its expertise and knowledge of technical developments to other organizations via events, meetings, workshops, and publications such as the International Journal of Cartography. With its Commissions and Working Groups it concentrates it activities on wide range of topics that nearly cover the whole discipline. Since being founded in 1959, ICA has worked with national and international governmental and commercial bodies, and with other international societies, to achieve its aims. ICA is member of ISC and of the UNGGIM Geospatial Societies.

International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS)

The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing is a non-governmental organization devoted to the development of international cooperation for the advancement of photogrammetry and remote sensing and their applications. The Society operates without any discrimination on grounds of race, religion, nationality, or political philosophy. The official languages are English, French and German. The Society's scientific interests include photogrammetry, remote sensing, spatial information systems and related disciplines, as well as applications in cartography, geodesy, surveying, natural, Earth and engineering sciences, and environmental monitoring and protection. Further applications include industrial design and manufacturing, architecture and monument preservation, medicine and others.

EARSC

EARSC, the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies is a membership-based non-profit organisation which coordinates and promotes activities of European companies engaged in delivering Earth Observation geo-information services. EARSC's key goal is to promote the industry and to help to develop the market for EO services. EARSC is representing EO providers of geo-information services in its broadest sense creating a network between industry, decision makers and users and covering the full EO value chain from data acquisition through processing, fusion, analysis to final geo-information products and services. EARSC currently has around 100 members and the network contains all the leading European suppliers of EO data and value-added products as well as many small and micro-enterprises.

NODE

Founded in 2015, NODE is a student association linked to the master program Geographical Information Management and Applications, or GIMA in short. As this master is spread out over four Dutch universities (Delft, Enschede, Utrecht and Wageningen), attracts international students and is based on distance learning, a link between all the students was desired. NODE is the direct result of this need. NODE organises both informal and educational activities, and has strong links with companies in the geospatial business. GIN

GIN is an interactive meeting place and is an open knowledge network for everyone who is professionally involved with geographic information. GEO
