Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) is managed by AccorHotels, one of the world's leading hotel operators, and is jointly owned by Emaar Properties PJSC Dubai and Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. HICC is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art convention facility, the first of its kind in South Asia. It features an internal hall measuring 6,480 square meters that can be partitioned into six smaller halls.
The facility has quite a few feathers in its cap. It has been the winner of the excellence award for "Best Standalone Convention Centre" for a record four times nationally and now regionally awarded by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Andhra Pradesh. HICC has also received the award for 'Best Meeting & Conference Venue" at the South India Travel Awards 2015. HICC also holds ISO 14001:2014 certification. About Hyderabad
Known popularly as the City of Pearls and Cyberabad, Hyderabad is a major tourist destination in India. Climate in January
Hyderabad is located at an altitude of 1,607 feet or 536 metres over the sea surface. The mean summer temperature in Hyderabad fluctuates between a maximum of 44 degrees celsius and a minimum temperature of around 22 degrees celsius. Winter temperatures range between a maximum of around 22 degree celsius and a minimum of around 12 degrees celsius. Wearing light woolens during early mornings and late evenings is recommended.
It forms a part of the Deccan Plateau. The area of Banjara Hills is the tallest point in the city. The city of Hyderabad is famous for its distinct landscape and houses a number of lakes including Hussain Sagar, Himayat Sagar, Osman Sagar, Shamirpet Lake, and Saroornagar Lake. The principal river passing through the city is the Musi River which has its source at the Anantagiri Hills. The city has a mostly warm and arid climate round the year.
